Regardless of whether you are looking for togetherness as a couple or if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet in the vineyards as a family, the "Blick über Krems" holiday apartment will meet your expectations.
The holiday apartment, newly built in September 2020, is south-facing and has a bedroom with a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm), a living room with a pull-out double couch (140 cm x 200 cm), a small kitchen, a bathroom and a small one Vestibule. In total, that's around 50 m2.
There is also a terrace with a panoramic view, which also comprises around 25 m2, one third is covered and equipped with an awning. For al fresco dining you will find a table with 6 chairs. In order to be able to arrange your stay as you wish, we provide you with a charcoal grill and a fire basket. In the cooler seasons you can comfortably warm part of the terrace with a radiant heater. The sun shines here on beautiful days from sunrise to sunset.
In the anteroom there is a cloakroom and a wardrobe. The bedroom is furnished with a spacious chest of drawers, a small table, a mirror and two bedside tables. There are also LED lights by the bed and on the ceiling, which give warm light and are dimmable.
The living room has a comfortable 3-seater sofa that can be pulled out and used as a bed for 2 people. There are also 2 armchairs and a coffee table. There is also a TV set (Sony Bravia 38 inch). There is also a spacious chest of drawers for storing clothes. There is also a dining table for 4 people in the living room.
The windows of the bedroom and living room are fitted with internal blinds so that you can sleep longer if you wish and not be woken up by the first rays of sunshine.
To the south of the terrace there is a narrow garden that can be used together with the residents of the second apartment on this floor. Our daughter Valerie and her son Viktor live here. The garden is secured by a fence and is therefore also suitable for small children to play.
The kitchen is equipped with a large sink, ceramic hob, dishwasher and also with a microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, egg boiler and toaster. There are also dishes and cutlery, tea towels, dishwashing detergent and dishwasher tabs. The appropriate containers for paper, plastic, glass, organic waste and oil are located under the sink to separate waste. If necessary, a cot and a high chair can be provided.
A washing machine and dryer in the basement can also be used for longer stays. The bathroom has a washbasin with a large mirror cabinet, a shower cubicle and a toilet.
The equipment of the apartment also includes WiFi access. 2-4 people can use the apartment well. If you notice any equipment deficiencies, we would be pleased if you let us know. We will try to fix this as soon as possible.

Older people in particular live in Wachtbergstrasse, as the houses were built in 1960, and most of their children have already moved away. There is a general driving ban with the exception of residents and a speed limit of 30 km / h. 100m further you are directly in the vineyards. You can park along the concrete wall.
Krems an der Donau can be easily reached by public transport via Vienna with the Franz-Josefs-Bahn or via St. Pölten, also by train. The best way to get from Vienna Airport is to take the train to St. Pölten and then change to a train to Krems. From Salzburg and Linz you can also take the train via St. Pölten to Krems. There is also a shuttle service from several airports to Krems.
It is a 1.2 km walk from the train station to the holiday apartment, which according to Google Maps takes 14 minutes. If you have heavy luggage, it is advisable to take a taxi to go to Wachtbergstrasse 32. This distance is 2.3 km and takes 7 minutes in normal traffic conditions.
Since the apartment is around 100m above Krems, the approach requires conquering a small mountain, which is no problem for e-bikes.
By car, drive to the Steinertor, the Stadtgraben upwards, then left towards Schießstätte, immediately after 100m left again into Wachtbergstraße and 450m further to house number 32, which is on the right side of the street and is bordered by a large natural stone wall.
